Michael D. DeVine, MS, LPC-S, LICDC

Michael DeVine is a licensed professional counselor & family business consultant with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Otterbein College and a Master’s degree in psychology from the University of North Texas. Michael is the author of the book “Failure to Launch: Guidance Clinicians To Launch The Long Dependant Adult Child, host of Gray Matters Radio on The Reporters Network and the Co-host of Voice of The Radical Center on Talk 1370. Michael has spent the majority of his career in private practice working with families, teens, and young adults with a variety of issues such as addiction, failure to launch, anxiety, career indecision, autism, and depression as well as helping guide family owned businesses to continued and long-term success.

Many people ask why would Michael disrupt a successful private practice for the cutthroat world of media? Simple…Michael has been in the trenches of our society for years and has grown tired of trying to shield people from the fallout from the current political and societal climate. Instead of being a field medic of sorts and helping people cope with the world better, he felt it was time to bring his brand of therapy to the country through the radio. As Michael has said many times in his practice,  “Instead of trying to fix the downstream effects of the problem, why don’t we actually fix what is causing the problem to begin with”.

Bill “Billy Ray” Reed

When Michael decided to take on the problems of the world through a radio show, he knew that he couldn’t do it on his own. Frankly, Michael’s wife Jillian wouldn’t let him do this show without having someone close to him that could keep his ego in check so naturally his equally vocal, opinionated, and yin to his yang friend of 32 years was the only person who could fit the Bill. So who is this Bill Reed we speak of? Bill Reed, in addition to being the Human Quaalude, is the editor of the new blog Armchair Quarterback, a place where Bill brings random musings from an average guy on all things sports, politics, entertainment and more.
