We have to change the conversation in this country among ourselves because it’s obvious the media and the government only cares about themselves. Democrats and Republicans put party first and I for one am sick of it. We are not the enemy as much as the media and the politicians want us to believe. It is them who are truly the enemy of the state.
We can’t wait for them to change and we don’t have to. We can start today by instead of posting some meme that makes you feel better and antagonizes the other side…why don’t we ask someone what they believe and why. Then…instead of telling they are wrong…just leave it at that. Maybe that person might ask you what you believe and why.
If we love this country so much, which I think we all do because we are so passionate and upset, then we need to choose behaviors that will actually get people to hate each other less and try to talk. We can’t bring this country together by attacking each other so let’s really think about we say and do and put it through the filter of what can I say and do that would make someone listen to what I have to say and not be angry.
We all have to change folks and it’s up to us and I know we can. Who wants to join me in doing one thing today that will help change one conversation with people who might think differently than you?
